William Scharf

William Scharf has over 10 years of work experience, with expertise in talent acquisition and scaling SaaS businesses. William has held various leadership roles, including Global Head of Talent Acquisition at Rovio Entertainment Corporation, VP of Talent Acquisition at Aiven, and VP of Talent Acquisition at Smartly.io. William also has experience as a Board Member at Junction, a non-profit hackathon and tech community. Prior to these roles, William worked as the Recruitment Lead for Zalando SE's Tech Hubs and as the Managing Director of their own company, Nord-West Consulting Oy. William has a strong background in business development and sales, having worked for companies such as Finitec Oy, Wunderdog Oy, EzyInsights, and Citrus Oy.

William Scharf obtained a BA (Joint Hons) degree in Business Administration and Marketing from the University of the West of England. William also completed Finnish Level 1 at the University of Helsinki. Prior to that, they completed their A Levels in Maths, History, Chemistry, French, and Graphic Design at Pates Grammar School, Cheltenham. In addition to their formal education, they hold several certifications including Textio Inclusive Employer Brand Certification, Predicting Success for Recruiters, Black Belt in Digital Marketing, Strategic Sourcing, and Black Belt in Internet Recruitment.
