Caroline Pollak has a diverse work experience in the field of systems engineering and software development. Caroline began their career at North Carolina State University as a Teaching Assistant in 2020. After that, they gained industry experience as an Engineer Intern at Gilbarco Veeder-Root in 2020 and as a Software Engineer Intern at the same company in 2021. In 2022, Caroline joined RoviSys, where they initially worked as a Systems Co-op from January to April. Following their co-op experience, they were promoted to the role of Systems Engineer I from August 2022 to July 2023. Currently, Caroline holds the position of Systems Engineer II at RoviSys starting from July 2023.
Caroline Pollak holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering from North Carolina State University, which they obtained from 2018 to 2022. Prior to their university education, they completed their high school education and received a High School Diploma from Arundel Senior High School from 2015 to 2018. In addition to their formal education, Caroline has obtained several certifications, including the FE Exam from NCEES in November 2022. Caroline also holds certifications in Python Data Science from IBM, Visualizing Data with Python and Analyzing Data with Python from edX, and SAS programming from SAS, all of which they acquired between 2020 and 2021. Furthermore, Caroline completed courses in Machine Learning with Python: A Practical Introduction and Python Basics for Data Science from edX in December 2020.
