Systems Engineer II at RoviSys

Justin Pellis has a diverse range of work experience. Justin started their career at The Millstone Research Group at the University of Pittsburgh, where they worked as a Nanoscience Research Shadowing. During this time, they assisted graduate students with their research on different nano-materials and developed important laboratory skills.

In 2016, Justin joined Hannastown Golf Club as a Pro Shop Staff, where they gained customer service experience and learned about the operations of a golf club.

In 2018, Justin worked as an Undergraduate Research Intern at Purdue School of Engineering and Technology, IUPUI. Justin participated in the National Science Foundation Research Experience for Undergraduates program, focusing on Nanomaterials for Energy and Biological applications. Their work involved analyzing CT scanned images of battery electrodes to examine changes in lithium ion batteries over repeated cycling. Justin also learned the battery fabrication process and experimented with various electrode materials.

In 2019, Justin worked as a Chemical Manufacturing Intern at Axalta. Justin gained valuable hands-on experience in chemical manufacturing during this time.

Since 2020, Justin has been working at RoviSys. Justin initially joined as a Systems Engineer I and later transitioned to the role of Systems Engineer II. The details of their roles at RoviSys are not provided.

Additionally, Justin was involved with the Villanova Formula SAE Team from 2016 to 2019. As the Driver Controls Lead, they worked collaboratively with a team of engineering students to design and build a formula-style racecar. Justin was responsible for managing the driver controls system and its interfaces with the vehicle. Justin also served as one of the presenters for the team's business presentation event.

Justin Pellis completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Villanova University from 2016 to 2020. Prior to that, they attended Greensburg Salem High School from 2012 to 2016.
