Erik Cortes

Erik Cortes is a Design Engineer II at Electrical Consultants, Inc., specializing in detailed electrical design and system studies for medium to extra high voltage substation facilities and power systems. Responsibilities include creating control schematics, conducting load flow and short circuit studies, and performing diverse physical design tasks. Prior experience includes roles as National Director and Treasurer at FIND, Inc., overseeing finances and planning national conferences, as well as serving as Student Diversity Coordinator at New Jersey Institute of Technology. Erik has also held positions as Vice President and Treasurer for the Filipinos In Newark Engaging Sociocultural Traditions organization, and has worked in various customer service roles. Erik holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Technology from New Jersey Institute of Technology and a diploma in Culinary Arts from County Prep High School.
