Karl Messerschmidt

Karl Messerschmidt has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Karl is currently working at RoviSys as a Lead Systems Developer, where they are responsible for developing and implementing a customized Parsec TrakSYS MES solution for a major manufacturer in the chemical engineering sector. Karl also manages project timelines and delivers high-value features and enhancements to ensure a positive user experience.

Prior to RoviSys, Karl worked at Infosys as a Specialist Programmer, where they deployed and integrated manufacturing execution solutions for a major aerospace manufacturer. Karl also underwent advanced training for full-stack development work. Karl held various roles at Infosys, including Senior Associate Developer, where they developed custom MES solutions in DELMIA Apriso for a major aerospace manufacturer's Connected Factory initiative.

Before joining Infosys, Karl worked at Charter Oak Cultural Center as a Technical Director. In this role, they oversaw audio, lighting, and video aspects of performances and events. Karl created custom technical solutions, advised on equipment purchases, and repaired equipment.

Karl also has experience as a Freelance Sound Engineer/Lighting Designer, where they designed multimedia displays for various clients, including museums, libraries, and dance schools. Karl worked as a Professor at Capital Community College, teaching courses on electronic composition, sound recording, music business, and the recording industry. At The Spanish Speaking Center, Karl served as a Program Coordinator, developing a custom database solution and managing office technology. Karl also worked as a Web Content Manager at Trydella, Inc., where they researched and maintained content for a web-based local business networking service.

Throughout their career, Karl has demonstrated strong technical skills, project management abilities, and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.

Karl Messerschmidt obtained a Master's Degree in Music Technology from New York University, where they studied from 2015 to 2019. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Music degree in Music Production and Engineering from Berklee College of Music. Alongside their formal education, Karl also holds several certifications including AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in September 2021, Certified IoT Professional from Infosys in 2021, App Modernization Basics from IBM in September 2019, DELMIA - MOM - Apriso BPM - USE - Level 1 from Dassault Systèmes in September 2019, and A+ certification from CompTIA in January 2006.
