Nick Aceves, M.S., CPRP, is an experienced Parks and Recreation Director with a strong background in government administration and community services. They served as Parks and Recreation Superintendent in the City of Reidsville from 2012 to 2015, overseeing various roles including Assistant Director and Teen Center Supervisor. From 2015 to 2023, Nick held the position of Director of Parks and Recreation in the City of Salisbury, and they recently took on the role of Parks and Recreation Director for Rowan County in 2024. Nick earned a Bachelor of Arts in Media Studies from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and a Master of Science in Leisure Service Management from the same institution, along with a certificate in Municipal and County Administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
