Rowing Ireland is the governing body for Rowing and represents over 100 Clubs across the island of Ireland. Rowing is one of Ireland's most successful sports, having won multiple World Championships an Olympic Silver medal in Rio 2016, and and Olympic Gold and Bronze medal in Tokyo 2020. Rowing Ireland promotes a culture of excellence and openness so that athletes, coaches and volunteers have a lifelong positive experience. Rowing Ireland is responsible for the growth and development of Rowing in Ireland. With the introduction of the Get Going...Get Rowing programme, over 86,000 participants have taken part in Rowing since its inception in 2014.
