Matt Hamann

Matt Hamann has a long history of working in the technology industry. Matt began their career in 2005 as a Software Developer/Consultant at Planworx Architecture, P.A. In 2006, they took on the role of VINTAGE Head Technical, Usher, and Lab Monitor at Bob Jones University. In 2009, they joined IBM as a Senior Software Engineer/Architect for the IBM Automation Platform, a Senior Software Engineer/Cloud Architect for API management, a Software Engineer/Engineering Lead, an Application Architect, a Web Developer, and a Web Developer intern. Most recently, in 2021, they became a Co-Founder and CTO at Rownd (YC W22).

Matt Hamann obtained a BS in Information Systems Management from Bob Jones University between 2005 and 2009. Matt then went on to obtain an MS in Information Systems Management from Carnegie Mellon University between 2009 and 2010. In 2013, they obtained an Advisory IT Specialist certification from IBM. In 2021, they obtained an IBM Certified Solution Architect - Cloud v4 certification from IBM.
