João Azevedo

João Azevedo has over seven years of professional experience in software engineering, product management, and project management. In 2013, they worked as an Android Developer at PT Inovação, where they were a member of the Android MEO Go Team and developed the SMART AAL's Android App. In 2014, they became a Co-Founder & Mobile Developer at SenseGate - Connecting Technologies, Lda, developing Android and iOS apps focused on WiFi communication with a hardware module. In 2015, they worked as a Project Manager at IBM, leading IT infrastructure projects in Portuguese Banks and managing the projects' budget, scope, and plan. In 2017, they joined Feedzai as a Software Engineer, developing Java software modules and adapting, customizing and deploying WEB applications. In 2018, they started working at Talkdesk as a Product Manager and Associate Product Manager, where they identified and solved customer problems and needs, managed the backlog of two Scrum teams and worked iteratively on their product roadmap. Currently, they are a Group & Product Manager at Rows.

João Azevedo received their Master in Electrical and Computers Engineering from the Faculdade de Engenharia da Universidade do Porto between 2008 and 2013. In 2016, they obtained their ITIL V3 2011 Foundation certification from APMG - International. In 2022, they obtained two certifications from Reforge, Mastering Product Management and User Insights for Product Decisions.
