Atty de la Paz has been a practicing corporate lawyer for three decades, and is a senior partner at Picazo Buyco Tan Fider & Santos. She presently serves as corporate secretary or assistant corporate secretary of various Philippine companies. Her practice areas include project financing, debt capital market transactions, mergers and acquisitions and investments. She also has special practice in taxation and directly participates in tax reform initiatives and other advocacies relating to tax administration and practice through the professional tax organization, Tax Management Association of the Philippines (TMAP), of which she has been a director for the last ten (10) years.
