Immediately prior to joining RHI, Atty. Rabara-Retardo was Vice-President for Legal & Administrative Affairs and Corporate Secretary of Advanced Merchant Payments (AMP) Lending Corporation, under the umbrella of AMP Group of Companies, with its parent company, Amplifi Capital (HK) Ltd. based in Hong Kong S.A.R. As the Lead Counsel for the AMP Group, she likewise provided support in legal and contracts management, labor, intellectual property and taxation, and other consulting roles ror operations in the APAC region and the United Kingdom.

She also joined the Philippine government service, as Court Attorney V (chief legal officer) of the then Presiding Justice Enesto Acosta of the Court ot Tax Appeals, specializing in government procurement contracts, public bidding, taxation and litigation. Atty. Rabara-Retardo started her career as an associate in the Tan Venturanza Valdez Law office, a medium-sized law firm where she was assigned as Corporate Secretary of various private and publicly-listed companies, private banks and investment houses. Her core legal practices are in Corporate and Securities Law, Taxation, Intellectual Property, Labor and Compliance.
