Emily Anderson

Emily Anderson, M.A., is an experienced school counselor currently serving at Ridgefield Park High School since July 2018. Concurrently, Emily has been a substitute teacher for the Mountain Lakes Board of Education and Roxbury Township School District since January 2014 and September 2013, respectively, overseeing classroom environments across various grade levels and special education settings. Additionally, Emily has worked as a graduate assistant at Montclair State University, contributing to a counseling group and assisting with socio-emotional initiatives. Past internship experiences include providing counseling at Parsippany High School, Randolph Middle School, and Chester M. Stephens Elementary School, addressing a range of academic and personal challenges for students. Emily holds a Master’s Degree in Counselor Education from Montclair State University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Family and Child Studies from the same institution.
