Jay Govender

Jay Govender has extensive experience in maintenance and reliability engineering, currently serving as the Corporate Reliability Manager at RoyOMartin since June 2008, following the role of Reliability Engineer. Prior experience includes supervising plant operations and maintenance at CHRISTUS Health, where oversight was provided for utility systems in a 250-bed hospital, and managing significant operations at AFCO Industries, Inc. as Plant and Fabrication Supervisor. Jay's career began with technical roles at Mobil/Engen Refinery and Huntsman Corporation, gaining expertise in equipment repair and maintenance. Academic qualifications include a National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from Durban University of Technology and degrees in Christian Ministry and Bible Theology from In Christ International Bible College. Certifications as a Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP) further enhance qualifications in the field.
