Khalid Mathbout, CMA, IFRS, has a wealth of experience in various financial roles spanning over two decades. Khalid began their career as a Junior Accountant at Al Nawras General Trading in 1999 before moving on to Al Jeri Transportation as a Financial Accountant. In 2003, Khalid joined MPS Corporation as a Chief Accountant, a role they held for five years. Khalid then transitioned to Power, Water, and Technical Works as the Head of Finance and Administration from 2008 to 2010.

In 2010, Khalid joined Jabal Omar Development Co. as the Financial Reporting Manager, where they demonstrated their expertise in financial reporting for a period of four years. Khalid further expanded their responsibilities and knowledge by joining Vision Capital Group in 2014 as the Director of Finance and Accounting, where they played a key role in defining and implementing new quality standards, generated annual savings of SAR 2 Million through cost-improvement initiatives, and contributed significantly to drafting and evaluating financing proposals.

Their most recent position was at Rua Al Madinah Holding Company, where they initially joined as Acting CFO in December 2017. Khalid was instrumental in establishing the finance department from scratch and building a professional team. Khalid developed financial strategies, systems, and plans that aligned with the company's objectives and annual budgeting process. Khalid's leadership skills and financial expertise have enabled him to drive the company to achieve its highest performance levels.

Khalid Mathbout, CMA, IFRS, completed their education at various institutions and obtained additional certifications. In 1998, they graduated from Tishreen University with a Bachelor of Economics degree, specializing in Accounting and Finance. In 2018, they attended Mindcypress for a course in Financial Modeling. Continuing their professional development, Khalid completed the Reading Financial Statements course at Corporate Finance Institute® (CFI) in 2020. Khalid also completed the Valuation – Advanced program at New York University Abu Dhabi in the same year. Additionally, Khalid obtained the Certified Management Accountant (CMA) certification from the Institute of Management Accountants (IMA) in December 2014.
