Oscar Meuffels

Oscar Meuffels currently serves as the Director of Public Affairs, ESG, and Corporate Communication at Royal A-ware since February 2022. Prior to this role, Oscar held various positions, including General Director at the Nederlandse Zuivel Organisatie from October 2011 to November 2021, and Head of Cluster Europe at the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Agriculture and Innovation from September 2010 to September 2011. Oscar also worked as a Policy Coordinator at the Ministry of Agriculture, Nature and Food Quality and served as Counsellor for Agriculture, Nature and Food Quality at the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Zagreb and Belgrade. Further experience includes serving as Agricultural Attaché at the Permanent Representation of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to the EU, and Project Attaché at the Netherlands Embassy in Kenya. Oscar began a legal career as a lawyer at the Ministry of LNV, drafting legislation on nature conservation. Academic qualifications include a Master's degree in International Law with a specialization in European Law from Leiden University and a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from Leiden University.
