Ben Saunders

Ben Saunders is a Co-Founder and CTO of Signapse, a startup focused on merging AI with Sign Language to provide automatic sign language translation through photo-realistic synthetic signers. In addition, Ben serves as a Royal Academy of Engineering Enterprise Fellow. Previous experience includes working as a Business Analyst at Accenture in the Robotics and Artificial Intelligence division, where responsibilities included leading design scopes and managing developer teams for banking software projects. Ben holds a PhD in Computer Vision with a specialization in Sign Language Production from the University of Surrey, a Master's degree in Artificial Intelligence from Queen Mary University of London, and a Bachelor's degree in Economics from The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). Early education was completed at Poole Grammar School.
