Michael Fisher

Michael Fisher is a highly experienced academic in the field of computer science, currently serving as a Professor of Computer Science at The University of Manchester since July 2020 and as Chair in Emerging Technology at the Royal Academy of Engineering since March 2019. Previously, Michael Fisher was a Professor of Computer Science at the University of Liverpool from January 2001 to July 2020. Michael Fisher holds a PhD in Computer Science, an MSc in Systems Design, and a BSc in Mathematics and Computer Science, all obtained from the University of Manchester between 1980 and 1987.
