Nora Stern

Nora Stern, PhD, is a co-founder at Affiniti AI since March 2020, focusing on leveraging Generative Conversational AI to enhance mental health support. Currently serving as an Enterprise Fellow at the Royal Academy of Engineering since July 2022, Nora previously held a position as a Research Intern at The Alan Turing Institute in June 2017, where contributions included developing interactive data visualizations for predictive mental health monitoring. Nora has also served as a Contributing Lecturer and Teaching Assistant at UCL, teaching courses on digital game prototyping and gamification. In addition, volunteer work as a Research Assistant at The University of Edinburgh involved supporting research on culture shock and migration stress. Nora holds a PhD in Human Computer Interaction from UCL, an MSc in Cognitive Science, and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology, both from The University of Edinburgh.
