Rowan Armstrong is a multifaceted professional with a strong background in engineering and entrepreneurship. Currently serving as a Royal Academy of Engineering 1851 Royal Commission Enterprise Fellow since June 2022, Rowan also co-founded and leads Bioliberty as CEO. Previous experience includes a role as a Business Graduate at Siemens Healthineers and contributions to the Edinburgh University Formula Student team, focusing on the design of an electric powertrain's Battery Management System. Rowan has undertaken research and development internships at Spacelabs Healthcare, enhancing blood pressure measurement techniques, and designed a pacemaker simulator. Earlier entrepreneurial endeavors include founding a photography business that supported university studies. Rowan holds a Master's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering with Management from The University of Edinburgh and is currently enrolled in the Entrepreneurship Development Programme at MIT Sloan School of Management.
