Nigel Woodford

Nigel Woodford possesses extensive experience in the aerospace sector, currently serving as the Chair of the Membership Services Board for the Royal Aeronautical Society since January 2025. Prior to this role, Nigel held several senior positions at Safran, including Managing Director and National Executive for the UK from January 2021 to December 2024, and Executive Vice President of Engineered Materials & Advanced Composites at Safran Cabin from December 2019 to January 2021. Nigel's career also includes leadership roles at Safran Landing Systems, Messier Services Limited, and Messier-Bugatti-Dowty, with responsibilities ranging from program management and customer service to overseeing repair and overhaul activities. Nigel holds a Master of Arts (Honours) degree in Engineering Science from the University of Cambridge, obtained between 1981 and 1984.
