Kean Kuan

Kean Kuan currently serves as the Chief Medical Officer and Deputy Director at the Victorian Institute of Forensic Medicine, a position held since April 2023. Kuan has extensive experience in medical administration, holding fellowships at the Royal Australasian College of Medical Administrators and the Australasian College of Health Service Management. Over the years, Kuan has held various roles, including Associate Clinical Lecturer and Clinical Researcher at the University of Adelaide, and Director of Medical Services at Northern Health. Previous positions also include Deputy Director of Medical Services at SA Health and a Surgical Resident Medical Officer. Educational qualifications include a Master of Health Management from UNSW, a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from Monash University, and a Master of Philosophy in Medicine from the University of Adelaide. Kuan is currently pursuing a Fellowship at the Royal Australasian College of Medical Administrators and has been involved in case-based learning at the university level.
