Chris Culica

Chris Culica is an experienced professional in the field of compliance technology, currently serving as the Sr Director and Head of Compliance Technology at RBC since May 2021. In this role, Chris leads a team focusing on regulatory compliance solutions, including global markets surveillance and wealth management trading suitability. Prior to this, Chris held the position of Director of Trade Surveillance Technology and Corporate Security Tech, where responsibilities included leading technology initiatives and ensuring compliance across various security areas. With earlier experience at CIBC as an Implementation Lead in Wholesale Banking Technology and as a Change Management Coordinator, Chris has a strong background in project execution and application operations. Chris holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Ryerson University, completed in January 2008.
