David F. Denison

David Denison is chair of the board of Element Fleet Management Corp. (a global fleet management solutions company). He served as president and chief executive officer of the Canada Pension Plan Investment Board from 2005 to 2012. Prior to that, he was president of Fidelity Investments Canada Limited .

He is a director of BCE Inc. and Bell Canada. He is chancellor of the Canadian Business Hall of Fame. He is also a member of the Investment Strategies Committee, Investment Board and the International Advisory Committee of the Government of Singapore Investment Corporation, and a member of the International Advisory Council of the China Investment Corporation.

Mr. Denison earned bachelor degrees in mathematics and education from the University of Toronto. He is a chartered professional accountant and a fellow of the Chartered Professional Accountants of Ontario. He is an officer of the Order of Canada.
