Douglas Roseman is an accomplished tax professional with extensive experience in tax governance and compliance, currently serving as Director of US Tax Governance for RBC's US Entities since June 2017. In this role, Douglas oversees US GAAP and IFRS tax accounting, tax compliance, and tax process improvements. Prior to RBC, Douglas held the position of Director, Tax and Compliance for Credit Suisse’s Entities in the Americas from July 2001 to June 2017, where responsibilities included managing tax accounting and compliance, developing tax projections for CCAR, and leading global tax reporting transitions. Douglas began his career as a Tax Associate at Gratch, Jacobs & Brozman and served as a Tax Manager at PwC, focusing on state and local tax for financial services clients. Douglas holds a Master of Laws (LLM) in Taxation from New York University School of Law, a Juris Doctor (JD) from USC Law School, and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Political Science and Government from the University of Chicago.
