Eric Sarpong

Eric Sarpong is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in software development and leadership roles. Currently serving as Director of the Frontend Technology Practice and Lead Senior Software Developer at RBC since December 2018, Eric has played a pivotal role in the OMNI Digital Transformation team, notably guiding the development of the KYC app. Prior to RBC, Eric held positions at Express Scripts Canada, where responsibilities included leading a team in the agile development of the NIHB public portal application and implementing robust Single Page Applications using Angular and TypeScript. Earlier in the career, Eric developed modules for the Health Information and Claims Processing System and provided technical support at IBM Canada Ltd. Eric's educational background includes a Bachelor’s Degree in Software Development and Network Design from York University and a College Diploma in Computer Engineering and Network Support from Humber College.
