John Bolton

John Bolton is an experienced technology leader with a strong background in immersive technology and Generative AI. At RBC from November 2022 to October 2023, John served as Director of Engineering for the Generative AI Innovation Labs, guiding technical strategies and implementation of AI-driven applications. Previously, John held the role of Engineering Lead in immersive technology, focusing on Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality applications. As the Founder and Director of Technology at Revalis Interactive from September 2019 to November 2022, John specialized in integrating immersive technology into commercial solutions. John also served as Chief Technology Officer at Globacore Interactive Technologies, where responsibilities included overseeing interactive technology experiences for global clients. Early in the career, John was a Programmer/Analyst co-op student at RBC Royal Bank and has advanced academic credentials with a Master's of Science in Human Computer Interaction and a Bachelor's degree in Cognitive Science from Queen's University.
