Majid Jamalpour Birgani

Majid Jamalpour Birgani, PhD, is a seasoned professional in the field of data science and analytics, currently serving as Senior Director, Data Science and Analytics at RBC since June 2025. Prior to this role, Majid held positions at RBC Wealth Management and RBC Insurance as Director of Data Science, contributing to the organizations from June 2023 to June 2025 and April 2020 to June 2023, respectively. Earlier experience includes a postdoctoral research associate role at York University and a machine learning researcher position at Iran University of Science and Technology. Majid completed a PhD in Mathematics at Iran University of Science and Technology, where academic training spanned from September 2013 to September 2018.
