Rufan Tan

Rufan Tan has extensive experience in credit analysis and risk management, primarily with RBC from January 2016 to June 2025. As Director of Credit Structures and previously as a Senior Manager and Associate in Global Credit, Rufan managed complex credit portfolios, conducted financial analyses, and prepared credit reports while ensuring compliance with bank policies. Responsibilities included monitoring insolvent files, evaluating company health, and supporting the adjudication of new credits. Before RBC, Rufan worked as a Financial Analyst at Egotta Capital Investment Ltd., focusing on the Energy sector. Rufan holds an MBA from the University of Toronto’s Rotman School of Management and an additional MBA from Alliance Manchester Business School.
