Stephen Alsace

Stephen Alsace serves as the Vice President and Global Head of Economic Sanctions, Anti-Bribery, and Anti-Corruption at RBC since May 2022, overseeing the Global Economic Sanctions Program for the RBC Group of Companies. Prior experience includes roles as Director at Guidehouse and Navigant, and extensive tenure at CIBC as Head of Sanctions and Anti-Terrorist Financing. Stephen also held the position of Senior Legal Counsel at CIBC, providing legal support for retail markets and business banking. Earlier in their career, Stephen was an Associate at Borden Ladner Gervais LLP. Academic qualifications include an LLB and JD in Law from the University of Windsor and the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law, respectively, along with degrees in European Studies and Political Science/History.
