Wale Giwa

Wale Giwa is a Senior Audit Manager at RBC, responsible for leading global audits of first and second line operations across various regions and business lines since December 2022. Previously, Wale served as an Independent Consultant for RBC Capital Markets, focusing on Basel III Governance and enterprise risk management from March 2022 to November 2022. Prior experience includes a role as Lead Bank Examiner at the Central Bank of Nigeria, where comprehensive regulatory assessments of credit risk were conducted from December 2014 to February 2022. Wale also held the position of Credit Risk Manager at Diamond Bank Plc, managing a wholesale credit portfolio from April 2007 to December 2014. Wale holds a Masters of Finance from Smith School of Business at Queen's University and a Masters of Business Administration from China Europe International Business School.
