Gillian McDonald

Gillian McDonald currently serves as the Director of Operations at Sight Scotland since August 2023. Prior to this role, Gillian held the position of Head of Wellbeing and Centre Manager at Sight Scotland Veterans from August 2017 to August 2023. Gillian's earlier experience includes serving as a Senior Support Worker at The Richmond Fellowship Scotland from November 2008 to August 2017 and as a Support Worker at CrossReach from July 2006 to November 2008. Educational qualifications include a Postgraduate Diploma in Applied Professional Studies with a focus on Leadership & Management and Adult Support and Protection from the University of Stirling, an SVQ4 in Social Services and Healthcare, a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Health and Social Care from The Open University, and an HNC in Health and Social Care from John Wheatley College.
