James H. Jackson is the owner and CEO of The New Royal Bluff Orchards, a position held since January 1982, where James H. has developed over 400 acres of high-density Granny Smith orchards and currently manages 675 acres of organic apples and cherries. Prior to this, James co-founded Hunt Jackson, PLLC, serving as a principal and CPA from November 1980 to January 2011, and was a founding shareholder and director of First Sound Bank from July 2004 to December 2009. James's early career included roles as Chief Financial Officer at Joseph Simon & Sons from 1977 to 1980 and staff accountant at PwC from 1974 to 1977, complemented by military service as a Lieutenant in the US Navy from June 1969 to August 1972. Academically, James holds an MBA in Accounting and Finance from UC San Diego and a BBA in Forest Management from Nichols College.
