Danny Thorpe is a Leader & Cabinet Member for Communications & Corporate Services at ROYAL BOROUGH OF GREENWICH. Danny was previously an Executive Member for Crime & Public Protection at London Councils from February 2020 to October 2020. Danny has also been a Cabinet Member for Regeneration and Transport at Royal Borough of Greenwich from May 2014 to April 2016. Lastly, they have been a Councillor (Shooter’s Hill) at Royal Borough of Greenwich since May 2010.

After completing their undergraduate degree in politics and social policy at Goldsmiths, University of London, Danny Thorpe went on to complete a graduate teacher programme to earn their Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

They are on a team with Nigel Fletcher - Opposition Leader, Leo Fletcher - Deputy Mayor. Their manager is Denise Hyland, Mayor.
