David Borland

David Borland has extensive experience in integrated commissioning and children’s services, currently serving as Integrated Commissioning Director for Children's Services at the Royal Borough of Greenwich since April 2015. Previous roles include Interim Assistant Director of Strategy, Performance and Commissioning, and Head of Joint Commissioning within the same organization. Prior experience at the London Borough of Lewisham from September 2009 to March 2015 included positions such as Change and Innovation Manager and Scrutiny Manager for select committees focused on health and youth services. David Borland holds a degree in American and Canadian Studies from the University of Birmingham, supplemented by studies in History, International Relations, and Political Science at the University of California, Berkeley.
