Matt Hartley is a Council Member at ROYAL BOROUGH OF GREENWICH, and was previously the Head of Public Affairs at Money Advice Trust from September 2016 to May 2018. Matt has also worked as the Communications Manager at the charity that runs National Debtline, with responsibility for delivering media relations, public affairs and digital comms activity. Prior to that, they were the Media and Communications Manager at pfeg (Personal Finance Education Group), and before that they were a Media Officer at StepChange Debt Charity. Their first role was as a Parliamentary Researcher at Chris White MP in the House of Commons.
Matt Hartley has a MEng in Computer Science from the University of Warwick, a Master of Science (MSc) in Corporate Communications from Leeds Beckett University, and an Executive MBA (Distinction) from Leeds University Business School. Matt also has a CIPR Diploma and Advanced Certificate in Public Relations (Distinction) from the PR Academy.
