Renier Persen

Renier Persen is an experienced IT professional currently serving as the Infrastructure Security Manager at the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead since November 2019. In this role, Renier is responsible for ensuring that the IT security infrastructure meets the council's needs and adheres to governmental guidance. Prior to this, Renier worked as an IT Systems Expert at Ealing Council, where technical support and project leadership in IT systems were key responsibilities. Renier's earlier experience includes serving as an IT Systems Specialist at London Borough of Ealing and as an ICT Network Manager at Derby City Council, gaining extensive expertise in security governance, technical project management, and network design. Renier holds a Master's degree in Cyber Security, specializing in Network and Cyber Security & Risk Management from Northumbria University.
