Sarah Ilieva

Sarah Ilieva serves as the Head of Digital Experience at the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew since January 2022, overseeing the development and delivery of high-end digital services. Previously, Sarah held various roles at the British Council, including Head of Digital Strategy for Cultural Engagement and Head of Digital for Higher Education, where responsibilities included shaping digital strategies, leading teams, managing projects, and enhancing digital capabilities across the organization. Prior experience includes roles at Pearson plc as a Media Producer and Project Editor, focusing on project management, digital content development, and stakeholder collaboration. Sarah holds a Bachelor's degree in English Literature from the University of Southampton and has also studied at the University of Oxford.
