Josh Bednar is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in strategy, innovation, and product management. Currently serving as Senior Advisor for Strategy and Innovation at the Royal Canadian Mint, Josh leads the Innovation Lab and oversees the annual product plan process to align market engagement with organizational goals. Previously, Josh held various roles in product management, including directing product collections and managing the lifecycle of foreign coins. With a background in marketing from Sony Music Entertainment and sales experience at BMG Music Canada, Josh also co-owned Squishy Fish Organic, which focused on Canadian-made organic cotton baby clothes. Additionally, Josh has contributed to education by teaching business planning courses. Josh holds a Bachelor's degree in English/Cultural Studies from Trent University and a diploma in Music Business Administration from TREBAS.
