Dr. Dilusha Rajapakse

Dr. Dilusha Rajapakse is an accomplished academic and professional in the fields of fashion and textile design, currently serving as a Tutor (Research) at the Royal College of Art since November 2023. Prior to this role, Dr. Rajapakse worked as a Lecturer in Textile Design at Birmingham City University from September 2017 to November 2023 and held a position as a Lecturer in Fashion Design and Product Development at the University of Moratuwa between July 2008 and April 2013. Dr. Rajapakse's industry experience includes serving as a Technical Designer in Product Development at MAS Linea Aqua from January 2006 to February 2007. Educational achievements include a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Art and Design and a Master's degree in Digital Fashion from Nottingham Trent University and the University of the Arts London, respectively, alongside various certifications in teaching and higher education from institutions such as Birmingham City University and the University of Colombo.
