Vivian Hu has extensive experience in public health and dental regulation, currently serving as a Public Appointee and Chairperson of the Patient Relations Committee at the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario since November 2018. Previous roles include serving as a Public Health Inspector for the City of Toronto from November 1987 to October 2022, where responsibilities included investigating health hazards, enforcing regulations, and participating in public health emergencies. Prior to that, Vivian Hu worked as a Public Health Educator for the Region of Peel from September 1986 to October 1987, focusing on evidence-based health seminars. Vivian Hu holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and Psychology from the University of Toronto.
