Steve Holmes

Steve Holmes is a highly experienced healthcare professional with a focus on respiratory health and primary care. Currently serving as the Clinical Respiratory Lead and Chair of the Respiratory Programme Board at NHS Somerset since 2010, Steve has played a pivotal role in improving the quality of respiratory care for a patient population of 550,000. Additionally, Steve has been involved with the Primary Care Respiratory Society UK as the Children and Young People Asthma Lead and holds various committee positions, contributing to policy and service development. With extensive experience in general practice at Park Medical Practice since 1989, Steve also acts as a GP Appraiser for NHS England South West and has held leadership roles in the Royal College of General Practitioners.
