Victoria Tzortziou Brown

Joint Honorary Secretary at Royal College of General Practitioners

As joint Honorary Secretary, Victoria has responsibility for RCGP governance and leads on College consultations and College representation. She is the lead officer on ethics, health inequalities, and end of life.

Victoria was formerly Chair of RCGP London faculties. She is an East London GP and a board member of the Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) in Tower Hamlets where she leads on Integrated Care and has been working with a team of NHS commissioners, providers, the local authority, and the voluntary sector to develop integrated health and social care services which address patients` needs and reduce health inequalities.

Victoria is also the Research Lead in East London STP. In her academic role at Barts and The London School of Medicine and Dentistry, Victoria undertakes research on the design and evaluation of healthcare interventions and their impact on professional behaviour and health inequalities.

Victoria is a trustee and board member of the Healthcare Quality Improvement Partnership (HQIP) and a Founding Senior Fellow and Council member of the Faculty of Medical Leadership and Management. She is a Council member of the Faculty of Sexual and Reproductive Health. She also sits at the Council of the Faculty of Sport and Exercise Medicine and has a clinical and research interest in musculoskeletal medicine and education.
