Professor Of Conducting at ROYAL COLLEGE OF MUSIC

Natalia Luis-Bassa is an accomplished conductor and music educator with extensive experience in various prestigious institutions. Currently serving as a Professor of Conducting at the Royal College of Music since September 2009, Natalia designs syllabi and delivers conducting lessons. Additionally, Natalia holds the position of Principal Guest Conductor for the Oxford University Orchestra and directs the Orchestra at Wellington College. As conductor for the National Children's Orchestra of Great Britain, Natalia is involved in preparing and performing repertoire for numerous activities. Other notable roles include lecturer at the University of Huddersfield and former conductor for the Benedetti Foundation. Natalia also served as Music Director for Hallam Sinfonia and the Haffner Orchestra, and was the Principal Conductor of the Huddersfield Philharmonic Orchestra. Natalia's educational background includes a Junior Fellowship in Opera Conducting from the Royal College of Music and a Master of Arts in Performance Studies Conducting from the University of Huddersfield.
