Christina Fuentes Tibbitt

Christina Fuentes Tibbitt is an experienced professional in community engagement and management, currently serving as the Communities Manager at the Royal College of Occupational Therapists since July 2023. Previously, Christina held various roles at the British Science Association from 2013 to 2023, including Community Engagement Manager and Engagement Manager, where responsibilities included developing programs to support community groups, managing a large volunteer pool, and overseeing community engagement grant schemes. Christina's expertise in public engagement is also demonstrated through work with Science Foundation Ireland as a grant proposal reviewer, advisory roles with Carnegie UK Trust, and a contract editing position at American Journal Experts. In academia, Christina completed a postdoctoral research associate position at University College London, focusing on cognitive neuroscience, following a Ph.D. from The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and a B.S. from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
