Alexander Townsend is a distinguished professional in podiatry, serving as a Fellow and Member of the Faculty of Podiatric Medicine at the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow since November 2014. With experience as a Specialist MSK and Sports Podiatrist at Pure Sports Medicine and as the Lead MSK Specialist Podiatrist with Healthshare Group, Alexander has developed expertise in managing complex musculoskeletal conditions and sports-related injuries. Additionally, roles at Townsend Sports Podiatry, London North West Healthcare NHS Trust, and other organizations further enhance Alexander’s credentials in the field. Educational achievements include a PGCert in Podiatric Sports Medicine from Queen Mary University of London and a Bachelor's Degree in Podiatric Medicine from the University of Southampton. Alexander also contributed to the NHS Careers Campaign as an ambassador in 2018, promoting careers in Podiatry and allied health professions.
