Carina Phillips is an experienced museum professional currently serving as the Head of Museum Collections at The Royal College of Surgeons of England since October 2008. In this role, Carina manages the museum collections, including HTA licensed materials, and oversees strategic planning initiatives. Previously, Carina held positions as a Curator and Project Coordinator at the same institution, focusing on collections management, exhibition enhancement, and outreach promotion. Carina's prior experience includes serving as a Senior Osteoarchaeologist and Osteoarchaeologist at Archaeological Solutions Limited, where responsibilities included supervising colleagues and analyzing human and animal bone assemblages. Carina holds a PhD candidacy in Biology, History, and Museology from UCL and has earned a Master’s Degree in Osteoarchaeology and a Bachelor’s Degree in Archaeology from the University of Southampton.
