Mai Seida

Mai Seida, also known as Mai Attia, is an accomplished Global Programmes Officer at The Royal College of Surgeons of England, focusing on the Humanitarian Surgery Initiative since November 2021. With a strong background in health and humanitarian work, previous roles include Volunteer Support Officer and Volunteer Co-ordinator at Diabetes UK, Clinical Support Worker and Case Worker Volunteer with Doctors of the World UK, and Health Project Officer with Save the Children International. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Global Health and Development from University College London and a Master's in Pharmaceutics from Cairo University. Mai has a multi-faceted experience in providing support to vulnerable populations, conducting needs assessments, and advocating for healthcare access.
