Matt deFreese is an experienced engineering professional with a robust background in automation and project management. Currently serving as Automation Engineering Manager at Royal Engineered Composites since August 2018, Matt has also held titles such as Engineering Manager and A320 Program Manager within the same company. In addition, Matt is the owner of Innovex Automation Advisory, a position held since August 2023. Prior to their current roles, Matt spent a decade at Becton Dickinson and Co. in various leadership positions, including Project Engineering Group Leader and Process Engineer. Early career experience includes a tenure at Motorola as a Product Engineer, focusing on New Product Introduction and device engineering. Matt's academic credentials include a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from Iowa State University and a Bachelor's degree in Physics and Mathematics from Hastings College.
