Maaike Fleur

Maaike Fleur serves as the Programma Manager Duurzame Ontwikkeling at Royal FloraHolland, focusing on ESG integration, CSRD compliance, sustainability reporting, and strategy development since August 2021. Concurrently, Maaike is a member of SER Topvrouwen and previously held the role of Chief ESG Officer at Sustainable Forestry Investments B.V., where efforts were centered on landscape restoration and reforestation in Africa. Prior experience includes serving as the Executive Director of AMEA, where Maaike advanced initiatives for professional farmer organizations, and a Sr Strategy Advisor at the Global Reporting Initiative, contributing to the development of global sustainability reporting frameworks. Maaike has also represented the Netherlands at the European Commission for the EU Eco-label and worked as a sustainability researcher at SNS Bank. Educational qualifications include an MsC in Geology/Earth Science from the University of Amsterdam and a BS in Environmental Technology from Het Van Hall Instituut.
