Raza Qureshi has extensive experience in the field of Emergency Medicine. Raza currently holds the position of Medical Director at Royal Group LLC, starting in March 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Hamad Medical Corporation as Assistant Chief of the Emergency Department at Hamad General Hospital from April 2021 to February 2023. Raza also served as Assistant Chief of Services for Emergency Medicine at Al-Khor Hospital from October 2019 to April 2021. Before joining Hamad Medical Corporation, Raza worked as a Consultant in Emergency Medicine at Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board from July 2014 to September 2019. Raza has also held roles as a Consultant in Emergency Medicine at Arrowe Park Hospital and George Elliot Hospital, Nuneaton in 2014. Raza started their career in Emergency Medicine as a Specialist Registrar in the Emergency Medicine Training Program at NHS West Midlands from October 2013 to February 2014.
Raza Qureshi's education history is as follows:
From 1996 to 2001, Raza Qureshi attended Ayub Medical College, Peshawar University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree in the field of Medicine.
In 2004, they obtained a License to Practice from the General Medical Council.
From 2004 to 2007, Raza Qureshi pursued a General Surgery Residency Program at the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh, earning the degree of MRCS (Member of Royal College of Surgeons).
Starting in 2005 and ending in 2008, Raza Qureshi completed the Basic Surgical Training Program, focusing on rotations, trauma, orthopaedics, spinal surgery, hand surgery, vascular surgery, and urology. During this program, they obtained the degree of MRCS(ed).
In 2008, they enrolled in the Emergency Medicine Residency Program and simultaneously began their Fellowship of The Royal College of Emergency Medicine (FRCEM). Raza became a Member of the Royal College of Emergency Medicine (MRCEM) in the same year.
Raza Qureshi completed their Emergency Medicine training in 2014, obtaining a Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) in the field from the Royal College of Emergency Medicine.
In 2019, they became an Assistant Chief of Services in the Hamad Emergency Department in Qatar, where they are currently working.
In 2022, Raza Qureshi acquired a License to Practice from the Department of Health Abu Dhabi.
